THE WFS STAFF
Stanton Pearce, President and Owner
With his wealth of experience in management, flooring and stone, Stanton Pearce is uniquely qualified to
own and operate a flooring and stone company.
Stanton started out at Dimensional Stone Company, working for Ed Copeland and Bill Hayes. DSC specialized
in cut-to-size stone used for exterior cladding and all interior applications. This company was the
factory representative for some of the largest quarriers throughout the world. Stanton worked on jobs
ranging from the Exxon Headquarters Building in Irving, Texas, with over three million dollars worth of
exterior stone to Nike Headquarters in New York to Jacqueline Spencer Theater in New Mexico, which was
personally handled by him. In his three years with DSC, Stanton learned all aspects of the high-end
stone industry and sold over one million dollars worth of business. Mr. Pearce moved on to Global
Granite, based in Dallas. Stanton used his prior experience and acquired expertise to set up a completely
new commerical division for Global Granite. Within six months after the start date, the new division
was bidding on commerial jobs exceeding three million dollars. By creating an identity and gaining the
trust of commerical builders, Stanton was able to successfully establish Global Granite as a company that
not only supplied residential stone, but also in a completely new area of business in the commerical
market. Stanton's next position was as Project Manager with Sigma Marble and Granite out of
Dallas. Stanton was brought in to create a residential division to help sustain a labor force that was
solely focused on commerical business. Within the first ten months, he created a division that catered
to homebuilders and remodelers as well as providing business worth over eight hundred thousand
dollars. The new division for Sigma became a main focus for the company due to its success, and
consequently they had to hire a second shift to keep up with the pace of work that the new division was
providing. From there, Stanton moved to American Marazzi Tile, the largest manufacturer of ceramic and
porcelain tile in the world. In three years, Stanton took his account territory from $760,000 per year
to over $2,000,000. In March, 2005, with Stanton as President and Co-Founder,
Wholesale Flooring & Stone
opened its doors in Granbury, Texas.
